"Lightning fast and curious, Ariyan dragons are infamous for their ability to solve puzzles and open complex locks and latches. They are very intelligent creatures, and some even learn to talk in their later years. Many dragons possess the ability to speak through the mind, or telekinesis, and never need to learn how to speak.

Ariyan dragons are small, most of them standing under a foot from shoulder to toe. They have long necks and tails, and instead of having claws, they have paws much like a mammal. Some of the dragons have wings, others do not. This is said to be an effect of evolution, in which some of the dragons had no need to fly. This is most likely because of flightless prey or a lack of predators."
